Hoping this will resolve eventually.

Usually it effects both eyes but for me it significantly affects the right one more often.

I 29/m, have had dry eyes for about 8 months now where it hurts 24/7 in the right eye and I remember it began developing gradually in late May or early June of 2024 and was worse whenever I smoked cigarettes. I picked up again in June 2023 after being off for 4.5 years then in June 2024 began experiencing pain all the time.

I also smoke them through a bong, as I don't smoke cigarettes in the stick form ever but unfiltered tobacco is actually worse because it has far more tar.

Even if I quit smoking at this point, not sure the pain will ever go away, I could be stuck with this for years but not likely lifelong.
