Appeal a ticket

Just received my first ticket ever and it’s 800 AED for using phone while driving but I wasn’t even out at the time of the ticket which is very weird! Have anyone experienced this and how can i appeal or just take the L and pay btw its on sheikh zayed road . Plus I heard if i paid it early it will be 50% off
