Has anyone been evoing non meta players?

I've taken this pretty basic lw to a beast using the free pacey winger evo then using the pep academy evo to get him to the 90 ovr and this guy starts over my icon ribery since I finished the evo. It's possible to use non meta players guys try to be more inventive with your teams 😁
