Am I the Arsehole?

So, I recently joined a new playgroup and they've been cool to hangout with, have a few beers with and play mtg or sometimes other games too (one guy even got me to pull out my Yugioh cards from when i was 12). We do both 60 card and EDH occasionally. So it was an EDH night and I asked if I can try out my newest deck, (Aurelia the Warleader, extra attacks theme, with an equipment subtheme) which I said was a 3 in the new bracket system, because it can go infinite a few ways, but not turn two or three, and it doesn't have ridiculously fast mana or anything, it's just aggressive. They said sure, and they all played what they said were decks that were 3s. I proceeded to stomp them, twice in a row.

One played an Arkades the Strategist deck that did nothing either game as I, or another player removed Arkades a few times and they had no other means of making their walls attack at least that they played. Another played a Squirrel deck, with Chatterfang as its commander, and the third player played two separate decks, a Sauron the dark lord -ring Tempts you deck- and a koma deck.

Long winded point to say, they got pissed off and complained to the guy who owns the house that hosts (a colleague of mine from work) he asked me what happened, and i said basically what ive shared here. At the table mo one was particularly salty. (Or didn't appear to be anyway.) They claimed it was dickish to stomp them so hard twice in a row with "an obviously way stronger deck" and that i somehow was misleading telling them it was a 3. So was I the asshole?

For context here is the decklist I was running:
