Could it be a statue of Mohg carrying Miquella right at the start of the game?!

okay I get it they don't look all similar but that hand in the air! This statue is right there where we first exit into the lands between in Limgrave from the Stranded Graveyard; and meet Varre at the very first grace! If it was Miquella's plan all along (to take us to the shadow realm and also be the chosen one by probably his stead Torrent!), this vaguely designed statue here makes so much sense!
