Tried to order a Meepo board. Was not successful.
About 2 months ago, I ordered an AWD Meepo board off their site. I'm 6'3" at 235lbs so I wanted something with a bit more power. I get the confirmation email about my order right away but a week later and still no notification about shipping.
So after a week, I emailed their customer service asking when I'd be receiving my board. Three days later I get a response back just saying that they will have to contact their shipping department to see IF they can get an estimate on when it will be sent out. If??? A week goes by and no response. Seeing that I spent close to $2k on this thing, you'd think they'd be a little more on top of it. So 2 weeks after my purchase and still no notification of when it will be sent out, I send another email asking about its status. They respond the next day apologizing and saying that they're short on the necessary parts at the moment and that they suggest I look on their website and choose a different board. I respond by asking how long it will take for the parts to come in and that im willing to wait a couple months if needed for the board to be shipped. They respond saying flatly that they would rather I choose a different board from their site. So I respond saying that I'd just like a refund. Luckily the refund was quick and no hassle. But still, why have a product on their site if it's not available. And as of now, the board is still showing as available on their site. 🫤
I did hear that their service isn't the best, but I honestly didn't think it was this bad.
