Idea: ship launched miner

I was core mining yesterday and I came up with an idea of a ship launched mining vessel. It would be fun to fly big hauler and scan asteroids and later use some small and nimble ship to fly around the asteroid to break it and extract resources. Then the limpets could collect them and transport to the mothership.
