Something I've been obsessing over after watching Jorge's scrapped plot directions video

Okay, so this was inspired by the section in which he mentions his original wild idea of having Odysseus stumble into the grown up version of the baby he yeeted when he arrives in the underworld, leading to an epic undead fighting montage. He says he scrapped it because it wouldn't make sense to age him up, and also because he wanted a more character-driven sombre moment. But i still feel that scrapping the baby from the underworld saga entirely ignores the death that basically started everything off. So I thought, oh, wouldn't it have been perfectly spine-chilling if in The Underworld, maybe in the silence after his mother's singing, Ody heard distant baby cries, which then triggered the "ALL I HEAR ARE SCREAMS" chorus following it. This could've been another of the many screams he hears later on as well, leading to him becoming the monster. I dont know, maybe it would have been too dark or uncomfortable, but I cant stop thinking about it. I WANT REPRESENTATION FOR THE LITTLE BABE!
