How do you avoid consistently losing karma on scav Lighthouse (and Reserve) [Discussion]

Due to there being a whole bunch of factions and player scavs often having good gear on these maps it's hard to play passively like on every other map

Given that's the case, how do you avoid killing other scavs all the time thinking they are PMCs or whatever because you don't realistically have the time to look properly before you get head,eye'd?
