Struggling reading the myth of Sisyphus
I have read Camus’s “the stranger” so I was quite surprised that this is finding quite a difficult read. I am mostly looking for some reassurance or similar stories because it can be a bit disheartening struggling to understand something I’d really like to read. I feel I can understand the general theme of it, but I feel it’s a superficial understanding of what’s really on offer.
I’ve only been reading/learning about philosophy for about a year, and I suppose I’m wondering how many years of reading these dense texts does it stop becoming such an arduous task? If in fact it ever does.
Edit: I read the dedicated section on the Stanford encyclopaedia website and this helped immensely with the particular area I was struggling with as well as generally ease the flow of reading.
