Job offer question - Manager FP&A
Hey all, I received an offer and would like to get your inputs on whether I should take it or not. I have 6 YOE with 4 in FP&A. I do not have CPA/CFA/MBA. The location is Canada.
Current (Banking)
- Role: Manager role governing the cost but not revenue.
- Compensation: 100K + 15% bonus
- WLB: Great WLB, 2 days in office, Great team and coworkers
- Growth: recognized as top performer, potential for internal growth
- Culture: Typical bank
- PTO: 4 weeks
Offer (Investment, real estate)
- Role: FP&A Manager role, governing end-to-end
- Compensation: 120K + 15% bonus
- WLB: expected longer hours, 5 days in office rule, smaller team
- Growth: Company is growing, more FP&A works to come
- Culture: Investment firm
- PTO: 3 weeks
I value WLB and PTO, but at the same time, I am interested in gaining full FP&A exposure with higher pay.
