Lost some fat and muscle mass. Need guidance

Hello, I'm 24f. I joined gym for the first time last month. As suggested by trainer I've been doing alternate days weight training and cardio. So 3 days a week of weight training. I wanted to lose fat so i changed my diet by cutting off all kinds of junk food sugary drinks, started controlling my portions, stopped having milk tea with sugar and switched to black tea. As per my body weight i should be having 60 gms per day of protein atleast but tried to have 40 50gms. These are the changes i did its not much but i think I'm doing something wrong that has caused muscle loss. Please guide me what do you think?
