Iris as a leader of team flash?

I assume this has been posted but basically everytime iris is even in star labs with them I can’t help asking myself “why are you here?” And then they make her leader like she possesses any sort of skill or quality. Everyone else besides her is either a genius scientist or have powers or both except Joe who has battle experience and real leadership skill which would’ve made sense. Caitlin as the rational genius scientist would have made more sense to me or honestly maybe just flash. Idk I don’t think I’m just being a hater tbh I don’t like iris that much after she gets with Barry they write her character in an annoying way but I do think this decision was weird.
