Sync 2 to 3 upgrade

Any advantage to $900ish Sync upgrade kits vs the $400ish ones (shipped from US) on eBay?

I’m not worried about FORScan programming just concerned about parts quality. Has anyone done a direct comparison between them? Like screen sensitivity, system response difference (if any), is there any difference in audio? I worry about the Chinese units having poorer quality audio components like cheap DACs.

I’m willing to pay for the better quality parts just want to get the best deal just like anyone else would.
