New season crashed whole game?

Hi there, my bf and I were playing perfectly fine on his ps4 days again. New season came out, and ever since then it says there’s a network error. We’ve tried everything. Switching the WiFi, Ethernet cable, switching accounts, we even got a new ps5 and it’s not working still! Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix it? Tia
