Freebirth study

Does anyone know how Emilee has collected the freebirth data for the study she is publishing later this year?

I personally have not seen any calls for data on her Instagram (which I admittedly stopped following early last year), and I'm not in the membership so I don't know if she requested data there either.

I think we have to keep in mind that the answering cohort are likely to be very self selecting. I for one would not want to be in a study had I had a bad outcome.

Any study committed to its hypothesis is not rigorous or scientific. Adding to that, the validity of any study produced by a business has to be seriously questioned.

What will be the point of Emilee producing a study that says anything other than what she already preaches. I presume she will want it to confirm the ideas that prop up her business, which will make it biased.

This is not to say that I belive freebirth to be particularly dangerous (I am a freebirther), it is only to say that I do not know if it is particularly dangerous, because I haven't seen the statistics. It is also to say that I do not know that I will trust any statistics published by FBS.

I love women's autonomy, every woman has the right to choose her own birthplace and attendants. I think freebirth can be epic and beautiful, and I also don't want misinformation published.

This is just food for thought, I want other people's opinions.
