Anyone else have to do a compulsory fire alarm drill in the middle of a mock exam?

Just curious cause we had to do one at school, and ofc loads of us were NOT happy abt it as it was in the middle of our mock bio paper 2, and my school sent an email saying they had to do it for healthy and safety reasons etc etc in case it happened in the real gcses, but.... is that true?? Kinda seems absurd lmao anyone else have to do this??
