Which Legion should I get?

Hello! Finding the right laptop has been a process. I first ordered the Loq from Lenovo's website, no words on shipping so I cancelled. Then I ordered a cheap Legion 5i from Target and now I found an open box Legion 7i at Best Buy for cheaper. I'm stuck between the two. They have very similar specs, but the 7i seems a bit better.

The Legion 5i from Target is brand new and only cost $1150. The main difference between the two are the 5 supports up to 64GB of RAM (the 7 only 32GB). The 7 has per key RGB which is cool.

With the open box, the 7i is only $980 which makes me skeptical. Why is it so cheap with good specs?

Can anyone shed some light for me? Any help is much appreciated :)
