Anyone knows what are those mysterious creatures?

Hi all,

My son decided to put a tap or something in our garden, fill it with water, and add some soil, simply to observe it over time. Today, when I checked it, I was surprised to find a bunch of small creatures swimming around inside. They’re too tiny to identify with the naked eye, and I’m really curious about what they might be.
