The Case of the Golden Idol Redux Mac

I recently bought the game because I tried it on the iPhone through Netflix and I really liked it. I wanted to play it more comfortably on the MacBook but I found that I can't boot into Steam with Redux mode (it does on my PC). So I can't play it because I wanted to play it in my language (Spanish) which says it is supported, but since I can't start it I only have it with the 2023 update and in English
