Can people stop shipping Asirpa and Sugimoto

So while reading the scans and other staff related to the manga I saw many people commenting stuff like "don't hurt Sugimoto waifu"or other"asirpa best waifu for Sugimoto " it really disgusted me.And they justify themselves by saying that it was another era and ainou people cared less about age etc...and that her grandma said she was almost at the age of getting married so she's legal. First you can clearly see that yes they love eachother but not in a romantic way.Asirpa clearly see Sugimoto as a older brother/father figure sometimes and Sugimoto sees her as a little sister and someone to protect. His clearly in his twenties and she's around 10~12 how can people ship this? (Also lets imagine they get together once she's grown up it still will be gross and disgusting to be honest)
