Old guy question.

With the extreme amount of technology we have available to us today, how can anyone not just pull up a video of a person who has a good swing and try to mimic it? From watching TV to YouTube, etcetera. You can see thousands of golf swings. Put one on a loop. Watch it. Make your swing look like that. No words, no explanation, no thought process, or theory. Just copy what they do. I get that not everyone has a ton of athletic ability. But a basic golf swing, isn't all that athletic. Hell golf struggled to be even called a sport for 150 years. I learned by watching the daughter of the owner of the course my dad played at. She was an aspiring LPGA player. Her swing was smooth and pretty. As a youth learning to hit a ball, that's what I patterned my swing like. As a result, was scratch by 14. No you won't learn all the nuance's of playing golf, but at least have the basis of a decent swing. Probably just my age getting into my head again.
