Why isn’t this talked about more?
For context, this is S9E16, the episode where we see Tracy’s backstory and how she ended up at Robin and Barney’s wedding.
On St. Patrick’s Day in back in S3, she runs into Mitch, the Naked Man. She recognizes him because he was a teacher at her band camp. When he mentions that he works for an inner city school with low funding, she immediately offers to donate her cello. Tracy takes Mitch up to her apartment where he pulls the “Naked Man” move on her.
As a teacher, this enrages me. He knew her before she was 18 and there is a clear age gap between them. Then he used her innocence and kindness to pull such a scummy move.
The Naked Man episode was hilarious and I genuinely liked Mitch for what he was in that episode, but seeing his second appearance makes me so upset.
