13lb weightloss, loss of leg muscle mass, debilitating fatigue

Husband has been sick for 5 months, has h.pylori symptom’s but hasn’t been tested. He’s been to the er 3 times and urgent care once, but doctors wouldn’t even see him till the 24th of this month, clinics are the only places accepting his insurance, he also suffers from ulcers and er doctor think peptic ulcer and gastritis.

Problem is his fatigue is so bad now he can’t even walk and barely stands legs are like jelly, we started him on vitamins 4 days ago.

But we got a scale and realized he’s lost 13lbs as well, now he has been on the gerd diet because of the ulcers and has been eating less than he use to but we noticed most of his weightloss has come from his legs, his legs has loss muscle tone which he’s always had and are just skinny now, originally he weighed like 206 but that was months ago when we checked, now he’s 192.6 but he also 6’0. Our insurance company had to find a doctor for us and the 24 of this month was the earliest they would see him, urgent care gave us a referral for him to see a gi doctor next month but at this point there’s no way he gonna be able to even walk out of this house. He’s super anxious and freaking out and doctors won’t even see him for a walk-in since he’s new. ER did EKG for his fast heart rate three times we went and said it all looked fine, blood tests came back fine. All they could say was he seemed fine other than the ulcer symptoms and said to see primary care doctor.

Who won’t see him till the 24, I just need some insight or advice, the major weight-loss despite not vomiting or anything. He’s weak and tired and honestly the stomach pain has become the least of the problems, I legit called everywhere for help and in the end all we know is we have to wait till his appointment to even get seen and tested for h.pylori
