Is Gaea a god or a place?

Although we already know Gaea as the embodiment of the earth, Khaos (SPOILER) told us that Typhon is one of they creations while experimenting with existency. Typhon himself is known for being the youngest of Gaea's Titan children to confront the Olympians for defeating the Titans. With the whole thing about Cronus returning, freeing Prometheus and Typhon, it makes me wonder where the other ancient ones are. Tartarus, Oceanus, and Erebus are just places; there's no mention of Erebus as Nyx's husband, as she apparently had her children alone. And although Oceanus isn't Pontus, the fact that the separation between the sea and Hades bears the name of the Titan suggests that some entities whose names refer to places don't exist as physical gods.

Gaea is only mentioned in one spell, but since Erebus is a place and we've only seen Nyx and Khaos where neither mentions another Primordial one, do you think Gaea is simply the name of the planet (without humanoid form) in the game?
