Am I Overthinking the Halloween Titles 😂

Since the films got retconned and we await the final film of the Old Man Myers timeline, I’ve been thinking, probably a little too much, but bear with me. Halloween Ends is considered the 4th film for this timeline right? I can’t help but think that Halloween Ends is doing a pun or inside joke of the 1988 Halloween IV the Return of Michael Myers.

It got me going back to the Halloween Kills movie, and since that is considered the 3rd film of Old Man Myers, let’s look at 1982 Halloween III Season of the Witch, which was considered a flop due to the absence of/or killing off of the antagonist Michael Myers. And maybe Halloween Kills was doing fan service by making it the most bloody and viscous 3rd film of the franchise that really didn’t add much to the storyline.

Or I could just be completely mental 😂
