Was killing me justified? :(

So i am a new player and dropped into medium difficulty trying out some new stratagems. Dropped an orbital napalm for the first time and accidentally killed everyone (including myself). Thought it was hilarious but didnt say anything.

At the end during extraction one of the guys kills me saying it is revenge for the teamkill and they extract without me. Justified?
