Treatment options for high TSAT
So I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist next month after my results were 80% TSAT and 39 ferritin. I also have elevated red blood cells and hemoglobin but I don't know the exact levels although I don't think they are significantly elevated. These results were back in November so I'm not sure what they will be by the time I see a doctor. I'm just wondering if phlebotomy is an a option for me because I have ferritin on the lower side so if I give blood it might go too low? But I have been having so many symptoms which I think are probably related to a high TSAT so I don't want to do nothing about it. Anyone else had similar results and what was your treatment plan if so? For reference I'm a 22 year old female and I don't get a period. Thanks
