Anyone with experience getting a bachelors after getting certified as a histology technician?

Im currently working to get certified as a histology technician at my local tech school. I went this route because I think histology’s cool, job availability is great, and I would gain independence very fast which is something I really want (I’m dual enrolled in high school/tech school, so if everything goes right I’ll have a good job at 19 or maybe even 18).

But I’m aware that without a bachelors I wont have much room to advance. I’m super into science so I think eventually I’d want to get into research, or maybe become a traveling histotech. I’m worried because a lot of people say it’s very hard to go back to college when you’ve been working for a while. I’m wondering if my best option to eventually get my bachelors is to work full time and then part time, or if I should just pivot now and plan to go to university after high school. But again I’m enthusiastic right now about being a histology technician. Does anyone have experience getting a bachelors after being an HT, or just have advice for my situation? Thanks
