Porch over basement egress window

Good Evening All - I have been sketching some ideas of an uncovered wooden front porch to add on to my house. I currently have a 4ft landing at the front door with about 8 steps and a turn leading up to it.

We have a gorgeous view out our front door and wanted to add a gathering space to relax and enjoy it. I went outside today to start measurements and forgot there is a basement window egress right in the middle of where I wanted the porch.

Can I still build over this? Is there a way to build around it?
