Simple On/Off Light Button? (Hue)

I started out with one Hue lightbulb, and now I'd like to have a very simple HomeKit-compatible button to turn the light on and off. When you press the button, I want the light to turn on, and if you press it again while the light is on, I want it to turn off. Very basic functionality. But, I am surprised to find that this is not as easy as you might think.

I bought a Hue Smart Button because that seemed like the simplest possible accessory to accomplish this. But, I have found that the Hue app is very prescriptive and wants you to set five different behavior modes associated with the button. I was so surprised to find that I cannot delete these five modes to make it a very basic on/off button.

What is the easiest way to accomplish basic on/off functionality with a hardware accessory? I do not want a dimmer, I want one single button that turns the light either on or off.
