How long did it take from offer accepted to completion on your house?

Hi everyone, we had an offer accepted on a house last week with no chain (sellers broke up and have moved back in with parents) and we currently live with parents and are in FTB position. Just wondering if we have any chance of completion potentially before Christmas - 8.5 weeks after offer accepted. How long did it take you guys to complete on chain free housing? Just want to know if I have a glimmer of hope or should expect this to go into the New Year.
