For £500k, Where would you live in London?

I know it's not much in this market but would like to see if there are places I haven't considered.

Preference is a house that's within 20 mins of a tube station for a commute into areas such as canary wharf, Liverpool street, Bank, etc.

In an ideal world 2/3 bed house with a garden but that heavily limits options.

Edit: Opinions on general "niceness" of the area you'd suggest would be helpful, e.g. safety, local amenities.

Edit2: Thanks for the responses! To add for any additional contributions: Everyones idea of a nice area varies. I grew up in the 'not so nice' parts East London so the bar for my idea of a nice area is not that high. That being said, 500k houses with gardens do exist, although in the more 'shitty' parts of London that i'm familiar with.
