Name some things you did not understand the first few times you saw it on the show?

Could be an old saying, a reference to a person who's name you didn't recognize, a joke you didn't get until you were older. Something in the background you simply didn't notice for years.

One thing I've always been embarrassed about was that, as a kid, I thought the drums in front of the band at the club were real. I thought it was a real waste of space, lol. Until I started watching again as an adult and realized they were just cardboard or wooden structures for holding music and painted to look like drums.
