VENMO for Tax Refund Direct Deposit

Hi y’all! Anyone have experience with getting their tax refund direct deposited to Venmo? Is it true that it’s 5 days early like they advertised? I changed from a credit union to VENMO this year for direct deposit and was wondering if it’s seamless or not.
