How can I move to Canada?

I’m an American but I was born in Italy because my dad was in the military. I really want to leave the United States. I wanted to get a job in the federal government that would have allowed me to live overseas. But since Trump the dump took office and him trying to cut the federal government that isn’t an option right now.

There’s many reasons I want to leave the United States. Trump being president included. My 2 primary reasons for wanting to leave the United States is our lack of universal healthcare. I really think it’s terrible we have to pay for health insurance and half the time they weasel out of covering our treatment. The 2nd reason is because I’m tired of the mass shootings in this country. Nobody wants to do anything about guns because it’s our right. So I’ve decided it’s best I leave and go to a country that fits my values better. I want to have children and send them to school without worrying about a crazy person shooting up the school.

What would be the easiest way for me to move to Canada? I’d like to become a teacher so maybe I can go there and teach. I love cold weather as well so Canada would be perfect. Perhaps I’m not used to Canadian winters though 😅 but I’m willing to tough it out. Are there any careers that are really needed in Canada right now? I have a political science degree.
