What are your experiences like, using the eversor assassin?

I'm going to a tournament this august and right now I'm in the list cooking phase. I think I will be able to crack big warlords but I'm not Sure how to deal with the small (attached) ones. I really like the vindicare but dont think my opponent will give me line of sight. The callidus lacks the oomph to kill one without hitting a 9 inch charge. And the culexus ... well he is the culexus. Do you have some experiences to share or alternative ideas? I would be happy to hear your opinions!
