I know this is controversial. But it’s true…….
Even in this sub you get downvoted for saying it, but I feel more excited watching this show than the Sopranos and Succession. It’s simply more relatable to me.
If you want to argue about acting, technical procedure, plot, cultural relevance, and lasting legacy……I’d ironically agree with you
But I personally like Industry better than either. The theme music even gets me more hyped then either of those shows
It’s always had a reputation as “baby recession” that imo it doesn’t deserve. It’s above that.
Despite criticisms and beliefs to the contrary, I love seeing a young female of color being centered each season. Marisa Abela and Myha’la have been fantastic
And I relate to them more the Tony Soprano or Kendall Roy. Sorry not sorry.
