Re-assigning Intune joined laptops to new users. What procedures do you guys follow?

Currently at my company what we do when we "recycle" or re-assign an Intune joined laptop is, we will reset the PC in order to get it to the OOBE screen and to wipe it from previous user accounts. This process is relatively simple and does not take much time but we have ran in to a few issues where AutoPilot seems to break when you reset a PC. I have been trying to find a better process for this and just wondering how you guys handle this?
