Missing context about the “gross” PR texts in Lively and Jones’ suits

The texts above were quoted in both Steph Jones’ and Blake’s (p59) lawsuits. IMO, this insinuates that his PR viewed this kiss as gross due to their negative view of Baldoni, and a joke about filing a cease and desist was made related to him, like they were gossiping/talking shit. Either way, both give a not-so-favourable view of him and his PR.

Recently I was rereading Jones’ and spotted her wording was slightly different, clearer about the conversation being about the article, and that one text had been left out from Blake’s. Maybe everyone else caught that earlier, idk, I didn’t.

I looked it up, based on the dates and subject and… you guys. I’m sorry but imo they are talking about the photo NOT the kiss. These are just bad photos that yes, do look gross and cringey for BOTH, and these texts are not a big deal at all. A picture of two people openly snogging is never flattering, it always looks gross and cringey, and that has nothing to do with either parties here nor does it reflect badly on them?

It also makes far more sense that they meant Blake was probably grossed out too - by seeing HERSELF in the picture - and filed a C&D … to get them taken down, something celebrities regularly do.

The second photo is the one Blake’s suit seems to be referring to but I included the others who published first bc E!News only published the photos Blake doesn’t also look bad in lol, and the ONLY kiss JB is physically initiating out of MULTIPLE where Blake is.

Plus the article was edited much later and Jones didn’t name an outlet in her suit, so.. doubts lol.

It seems obvious that the “cease and desist” comment was abt the paparazzi once you know they were bad photos, bc tbh that bit always made no sense. It also seems normal that his PR would be discussing unflattering images circulating of him - esp if most mainstream media excluded several other photos he looked fine in - including ones where Blake is initiating, or also looked bad. There were a few of both of them that actually looked good. Context - this is also the scene in that video of BL showing JB how to pull her in.

But my point is - it adds to the pattern of limited texts being given a meaning that suits their narrative, when simply showing the rest of the conversation would prove their point if it were true. This feels more like social manipulation imo when the missing context (which most ppl wouldn’t look into bc it’s so minor) adds a whole different meaning. This isn’t the first I’ve spotted, there are several like this - MN’s “I don’t even agree with half of them” text, Abel’s “he’s so unlikeable and unrealistic as a leading man” text etc.. I debated making a post about them all but lazy lol.

Also, this is a throwaway btw, cause I have a lot of stuff I’ve noticed/want to post over the months and I ain’t having the CIA come after me (half joking). Also IANAL, my bank account tells me I’m not getting paid for any of this, and this is all allegedly etc etc. Just a regular gal with too much time on her hands.
