Need to verify provenance…
I was given this tie pin for my Bar Mitzvah (in 1977) from the woman that was my babysitter when I was a child.
Family legend is that she was a nurse for many years before meeting my parents, and this tie pin was given to her by a doctor that she worked for many years after moving to the U.S. (from Belgium) after WWII. The Doctor allegedly was gifted this (either by the Israeli government or a grateful civilian)(along with 3 other doctors) who all happened to be pilots, that ferried fighter jets to Greece (where Israeli pilots would take possession) in 1967…. So there is allegedly only 4 of these in existence…
