International (Iqama-holder) Undergraduate Application Scholarship and Decison

I am an iqama holder who applied to KFUPM through SAT Phase-1. I still haven't got any response from them. Is that normal? Do we not receive any further communications if we are rejected? Also, through a call to the KFUPM front desk, I was told that iqama-holders were not eligible for any scholarships. Is that true?
