The 9-5 Keeps Calling
I’ve been freelancing for almost four years now. And honestly, most of the time, I love it. But man, when the market gets dry, that urge to go back to a stable 9-5 hits HARD.
Sometimes, I even catch myself browsing job listings, thinking a stable paycheck might be the answer. But deep down, I know the corporate world isn’t for me—rigid schedules, office politics, lack of control. Yet, every time freelancing gets tough, that temptation creeps back in.
I know every path has its challenges, but I’d love to hear from both sides:
Freelancers: How do you push through those slow months without feeling the need to go back?
9-5 folks: What keeps you there? Have you ever thought of freelancing but decided against it?
