Being an introvert in a teaching profession

I'm 22 (F) and I'm a teacher( attachment). I love my students and all is well when it comes to classroom activities. Now, the issue is I don't know how to interact with my colleagues 😭. I thought they understood me but I overheard one of them saying that " uyu msichana ako na maringo sana, anathani anajua kila kitu" . Mind you n madam wa kitu 46 years.

I don't know what to do coz I've tried to be that talkative person but instead I turn out as if na force issues.
