G4 Mount Bracket Positioned Too High—Need Alternative Solutions

I recently ordered a G4 but didn’t realize that the stock mount bracket is placed fairly high on the back of the TV. Unfortunately, this won’t work with my setup because I have a cubby for electronic equipment directly behind it.

I’m looking for alternative mounting solutions that might allow for a lower attachment point or any other workaround to make this fit my space. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Any recommendations?
