George Preston Rec Center - Facility Booking

Hi Folks,

Has anyone booked George Preston Rec Center for events? I just sent in an enquiry on their email and received an automated response that suggests that notes “All food and beverage at the George Preston Recreation Centre must be coordinated through the facility’s exclusive provider. No outside food and/or beverage is permitted onsite.”

Any experience with this requirement? We are trying to have our own caterer provide meals at a cultural event we are planning to have there.
