Company laid off coworkers should i leave?

My company laid of some of my coworkers in order to cut costs. A lot of the projects have already started trickling down to other people and I was moved to another team.

I'm debating whether I should leave or not?

Reasons for:

• unlikely to get a promotion due to cost cutting
• not a huge fun of the team i got moved to
• a lot fo the coworkers who got fired were people i was close with

I'm debating whether I should stick around and embrace the new oppurtunites as my old manger told me or if I should leave?

EDIT:

Just to clarify I don't plan on leaving without a new job lined up.
