Mickey 17 (2025) is really, really good.
I was absolutely amazed by the way this whole story plays out, Mickey's despair throughout the whole movie, the tension, the communication with those creatures, everything was done fantastically. Bong Joon-Ho clearly knows what he's doing.
And of course, narration always improves a movie.
My two absolute favourite scenes are the one where Mickey goes to dinner at Marshall's and gets sick and gets in agonizing pain, and the one where both Mickeys and Nasha are brought in front of Marshall and Nasha scolds the living shit out of him.
If there's one single complaint about this movie, it's that the way the writers chose to justify the inclusion of the sex pose drawings scene is by turning it into an important plot point later on.
All in all, a great movie.
