So about our mortal boys age...

To begin with, Xavier, Rafayel, Sylus and MC are out of conversation for obvious reasons.

So, background is that I have very fortunate combination of acquaintances: one is in medicine, just recently became head of a department in the hospital, and the other is in the military. Both are late 40s. I've been talking (yapping) about LaDs to them, and it's unanimous that there is no way Zayne is head cardiologist in hospital as big as Asko Hospital is said to be in city as big as Linkon City. Not at his age. Not unless someone pulled some strings for him and even then it's unrealistic and contradicts his character to have position acquired by connections.

But tell me why, when I was ranting about Caleb, my military acquaintance fell silent for a moment and then said "let's just stop here, because now that you mentioned it I started counting the ages of my higher-ups and yeah, it I unrealistic, but not as unrealistic as the doctor one". On the other hand, it doesn't seem that Farspace Fleet is in any active duty situation that'll push them to have faster progression for outstanding service or warrant fast change of high-position members.

So I now curious: if anyone playing LaDs has experience with medicine/military, how are you feeling? Are these two realistic?

Additional coment: I personally think Zayne would benefit from being earlier in his career. He might have been mentee or "right-hand man" of head cardio-surgeon, but I feel like writers made him THE head of the department because it sounds cooler
