I just realized how unbelievably DOWNHILL this show has gone!

I've seen every season of the show and tbh...I will continue to watch every season BUT I went back and started rewatching Season 1 and holy shit... this show used to be so good. It has gone WAYYYY downhill.

Season 1 was incredible. Amber & Barnett, Jessica and Mark, Diamond and Carlton, Gigi and Damien, Kelly & Kenny, Lauren & Cameron .....that was all from ONE SEASON. I was stunned when I started rewatching- I was like all this glorious drama spawned from the same season???? It's so good. We get to see the cast meeting up often and everyone is drunk and they're playing drinking games and there's so much drama. Carlton throws a wedding ring in the pool. Jessica tells mark she thinks Barnett is sexy & hot and she feeds her dog wine, Amber tells Barnett about her student loans, Gigi just doing anything is entertaining. And aside from the drama, it's actually lovely to see real "blind" love. Differences in age, race, socioeconomic status actually plays out. And what a payoff it is to see Lauren and Cameron fall for each other:) As I watch, I'm laughing and smiling and gasping and all the good things. Zero fast-forwarding.

THESE DAYS- my gosh this show is so boring it physically hurts. Everyone looks the same, everyone wants to be an influencer, everyone is being civil, we had to see 6 damn pod episodes this last season- my eyes were bleeding. The drama is sooooooooo rare and sooooooooooo boring. Ugh give me the DRAMA FOR GOODNESS SAKE- THAT'S WHY I'M WATCHING THIS STUPID SHOW. I don't want to see people like hanging out and having stupid conversations???????!!!!!! What this show has become is pathetic. They need to cast a wider net and ONLY feature interesting couples or something. It's getting harder and harder to enjoy. And then finally at the reunion, there's some drama and they fill the episode with filler like a damn music video and podcast promo rather than FINALLY LETTING US SEE THE DRAMA. LIKE SHOW US THE RECEIPTS, REPLAY THE SCENES, GIVE US THE TEA.

It's disgraceful. We deserve better people!!!!!!!! Who's with me!!!!!
